Employment Supports
What is Employment Supports?
This support provides workplace assistance that enables a participant to successfully obtain or retain employment in the open or supported labour market. This support can be supplied to any working age participant (including students reaching working age) with an employment goal. This may include supports to:
Explore what work would mean for you (discovery)
Build essential foundation skills for work
Managing complex barriers to obtaining and sustaining employment;
Specialised job creation
Supports to transition from an Australian Disability Enterprise (ADE) to open employment;
Develop a career plan
Other capacity building supports that are likely to lead to successful engagement in a Disability Employment Service (DES).
How do we deliver these services?
1 on 1 Coaching to build confidence and identify strengths
Create and tailor resumes and cover letters
Job creation, we will market you to potential employers
Transport ~ To and from interviews and/or employment
Attend job interviews with you
Provide support to negotiate a fair wage
Link employers with available wage subsidies
Provide on-the-job direct support
Advocate for you and liaise with your employer when requested
